Hard-hitting junior safety has been a stalwart in the Trojans secondary over the past few seasons. He has imposing size with very good range, fine speed and strong tackling skills to rank with any defensive back in this class. He has a very good nose for the ball, showing keen instincts to make the right read consistently. He has developed nicely in pass coverage nicely in recent seasons to be ready to be an every down NFL defender, though much of his coverage responsibilities have been in a zone scheme. He has the recovery speed to be a playmaker and is a blue chip athlete with definite upside as a pro prospect to be a complete pro defender. He shows the package to be one of the blue chip prospects in this class and his fine level of development will probably influence him to declare this January.
