Final '07 Poll
The college football ’07 season ended one of the craziest schedules in recent decades with the talented LSU club beating a young Ohio St. in the BCS title game. The Tigers crushed the Buckeyes 38-24 and became the first team ever to win two BCS championships. The incredible ’07 season and postseason concluded with major changes weekly among the top 16 clubs and the bowl season was no different. Ohio St. lost the BCS title game for the second straight year after being thrashed by the Florida Gators in a huge upset last January. West Virginia, Georgia, Southern Cal, Kansas and Missouri all impressed in their bowl wins and will get some consideration for the top spots. LSU wins the national title for the second time this decade with a BCS title under Nick Saban after the 2003 season.
