The college football top 25 rankings continue an incredible season with additional major changes as another #1 and #2 rated club, LSU and Kansas this week losing and falling from the top five ranking. West Virginia moves into the tenuous #1 spot with Missouri claiming the equally vulnerable #2 spot after beating previously undefeated Kansas. They will be in position for a BCS berth with a strong finish especially Missouri who faces a rematch with Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship after losing to the Sooners’ 41-31 at midseason. West Virginia rates the #1 claim after another impressive performance vs Connecticut.
Ohio St. has completed their season last week but moved up off the loses by higher rated clubs and they figure in any BCS matchups. Hawaii is the only remaining undefeated club after getting by a tough Boise St. club that fell just short last weekend. The top 10 teams shuffled once again with LSU and Kansas moving back after losing key games. A few former highly ranked clubs like Southern Cal, Georgia and Oklahoma are all making late runs into top bowl scenarios.
