First Round Selections Contracts
The Giants' CB Prince Amukamara became the final first round selection to sign his NFL contract last week. It brought all 32 top selections in the fold for the next four years after an extended lockout that forced contract talks right up to the start of NFL training camps. Unfortunately, Amukamara was injured within the first few days and is lost for the next two months with a fractured foot.

Tampa Bay Bucs defensive end Adrian Clayborn was the initial 1st round draft pick to sign under the rookie salary system that was part of the NFL's new collective bargaining agreement. Most others quickly signed on time for their club's training camp. Under the new CBA, all 1st round picks can have four-year contracts with a non-negotiable fifth-year option, although not all received the option year.
